What is the primary 3d modeling software at SmartShape Design?
SmartShape Design utilizes two 3D modeling software packages, SolidWorks and PTC Creo, equally to service our clients.
Where in your process is KeyShot used?
KeyShot is woven into our process throughout the development stream. We leverage Keyshot’s speed and vast material libraries for demonstrating CMF (Color, Material, Finish) selections early in concept development with high accuracy. The hyper real images KeyShot produces has always been an effective tool for us to communicate 3D forms during product development, but now we leverage this ability to also produce marketing materials and assets upon completion of projects as well.
How has KeyShot helped with the Everykey project?
As with all products, but especially those in the tech world, speed to market is vital. KeyShot enabled us to meet aggressive timelines by initially demonstrating design intent and later produce marketing materials before physical samples were available.

How has KeyShot helped save time, money and/or improve quality?
We try to utilize KeyShot to its full capability. Rendering ques, region and real-time renderings, and animations are a few of the features we know save us time, energy and money. The gained efficiency has allowed us to use KeyShot as an iterative tool for evaluating design decisions and improving outcomes.
