Our software products are developed in agile, cross-functional teams using elements from the SAFe setup.

For our R&D office in Aarhus, Denmark, we are looking to hire a skilled and proactive QA Engineer to join one of our agile teams. Here, you will be the banner bearer in ensuring quality is built into the features delivered for our three yearly increments.  

Besides your daily tasks in the development team, you will have an affiliation with the QA team to ensure sparring with like-minded and continuous improvements to our ways of working with quality assurance.

The role: QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer in KeyShot, you play a pivotal role in ensuring delivery of high-quality products.

You will engage with the daily work taking place in your scrum team and participate in all agile ceremonies with a continuous focus on QA.
You will ensure that test activities are taken into consideration throughout the entire development life cycle and support the team in delivering value sprint by sprint.

We expect you to contribute by:

• Providing valuable QA and risk-related inputs during refinement and planning of implementation tasks.
• Creating and maintaining test design and test cases for new features with a risk-based approach.
• Translating and implementing test cases to automation in our UI test framework.
• Executing manual as well as automated tests – both related to the development within the team, and across teams and products prior to new deliveries.
• Participating in defining risk profiles as part of planning regression test.
• Driving improvements within the agile team and in collaboration with the QA team.

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate that works proactively and independently, and who is passionate about collaborating with developers to integrate QA throughout the development process.
You are curious and a fast learner, and not afraid to speak up and challenge the team on their solutions and approach in a pragmatic and professional manner.

We expect you to possess the following qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience in software testing
• Experience with risk-based testing
• Experience in test automation
• Experience with API testing and API monitoring tools

It will be an advantage if you have:

• ISTQB Certification or other relevant software testing training.
• Experience with agile development methods and/or DevOps.
• Familiarity with applying test design techniques.
