Irvine, CALIFORNIA, March 29, 2012 – Luxion, one of the leading developers of advanced rendering and lighting technology and makers of KeyShot®, the first real time ray tracing and global illumination program, today announced that it is the exclusive sponsor of the 2012 IDSA Student Merit Award. In addition, Luxion will sponsor the five upcoming Design Dialogue Conferences as well as the International Design Conference held in Boston, MA in August 2012.

Each year IDSA encourages, rewards and celebrates excellence in industrial design education with the Student Merit Awards.   Each school will hold its own competition, juried by professional designers. The juries select one member from each school to present at the Design Dialogue Conference in their district. IDSA then showcases these five winners at the annual International Conference.
