When we saw that KeyShot 3D Paint has been the most popular of the new features in KeyShot 11, we had to team of with Render Weekly to see how far designers could take it. Over the past two weeks, the Render Weekly x KeyShot 3D Paint Challenge saw over 100 entries that captured the capability of 3D Paint to be used for everything from design elements to adding that extra bit of realistic wear and distress.
We were honored to have Linda Bui, 3D Artist at Logitech, as our guest judge, along with the crew from Render Weekly and others from KeyShot. Through a lot of deliberation, we arrived at five entries that beautifully portrayed what you can achieve with KeyShot and the new 3D Paint feature. You can view all the entries with the #rwkeyshot11 tag on Instagram. With that, here is the grand prize winner and the runner-up winners who demonstrated just what’s possible with KeyShot 3D Paint.
